Stall Booking Fees & Confirmation
Please note that the booking fee for your stall must be sent with your application
form, or in payment of an invoice sent to you prior to the event. We DO NOT accept payment on the day of the event.
Fees may be paid by cheque, to ‘Morpeth & District Chamber of Trade’ and sent to the Secretary, Mrs V Pope, 9 Tenter Terrace, Morpeth Northumberland NE61 1TN. If you need to pay in cash, please telephone the Secretary to make arrangements to do so before the event.
Your confirmation and site pass will not be sent out until the booking fee has been received and your cheque is cleared.
Health & Safety: Stallholders are reminded of their responsibilities in this respect. If appropriate, safety equipment must be available. (e.g. Fire Extinguisher.)
Set Up: No one may set up before 5.30am on the day of the Fair or leave before 4.30pm. Please stick to the time given on your booking confirmation, which you must bring with you.
Stall Size: If a stall exceeds the booked dimensions, admission may be refused, or the stall may be re-sited.
Disputes: Stalls will be sited in the order decided by the marshals. Unless the stall is a vehicle, all vehicles must be removed and parked as instructed by the marshals. Late arrivals may be refused admission, or re-sited.
Marshals’ decisions are final.
Insurance: Public liability insurance is the responsibility of the stallholder. This automatically applies to food stalls, without exception.
You must give details of your insurance on your application form. If you have any queries please telephone the Secretary.
We are not able to supply stalls, tables, or covers for stalls except in the
case of Craft stalls where this has been pre-arranged. It is the responsibility of stallholders to provide wet-weather protection cover for the event. It is also the responsibility of the stallholder to ensure the safety of the general public in the vicinity of their stall (this includes public access.)
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MARKET PLACE AREA IS RESERVED FOR FREE STANDING STALLS ONLY.
